The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every job Dunmore Locksmith performs is covered by the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If any work we did – a lock repair, a rekey, a new deadbolt installation – doesn’t hold up within 365 days of the service date, we come back and make it right at no charge. No forms. No receipt hunt. No arguing. We have the job on file. That’s the whole promise, and there are no asterisks beneath it.
What’s Covered
- The workmanship on every job we performed – if it fails because of how it was done, we fix it.
- Every part we supplied and installed – if a lock cylinder, a deadbolt, or a set of keys we cut develops a fault within 365 days, that part is covered.
- A return visit at no charge – we schedule it, we show up, and there is no call-out fee attached.
- A full redo when a repair doesn’t hold – we don’t patch a patch; if the original fix failed, we redo it properly.
- The job site left clean – same standard on a return visit as on the first one.
- Your peace of mind if the wrong person shows up – if anyone arrives who we did not tell you to expect by name and photo, that visit is on us and we make it right.
What Isn’t Covered
- Damage caused by a storm, a break-in attempt, an accident, or anything else that happened after our visit – those are new problems, not a workmanship failure, though we’ll still come look.
- Work performed on the same hardware by another company after our visit – once someone else opens the lock, we can’t stand behind what was there before.
- Parts a customer supplied themselves – we can only guarantee what we sourced and installed.
- Normal wear on hardware we didn’t install – every lock has a lifespan, and we can’t cover the years that came before us.
- Problems we flagged during the visit that a customer chose to leave unaddressed – if we pointed it out and documented it, the decline is noted on the job record; we’ll still come look when you’re ready.
- Cosmetic marks or finish wear on hardware that don’t affect how the lock functions – those aren’t workmanship failures.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call us or book online
Reach us at (910) 714-4287 – a live person answers every call, every day. If you prefer, use the booking form on our site. Either way, you’ll be talking to a real person quickly.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done
Just describe what’s happening and give us a general idea of when we were there – “a few months ago” is fine. We have the job on file. There’s no form to fill out, no fee to pay, and no receipt to dig up.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We find a time that works for you and confirm which technician is coming – by name and photo, exactly as we did the first time. The Threshold Standard applies on every visit, including this one.
Step 4: We make it right
The technician arrives, assesses what happened, and corrects it. If the original repair failed, we redo it – not touch it up. You don’t pay anything for the return, and the work is covered for the remainder of your original 365-day window.
Timing
The 365-day window opens on the date of your service and closes exactly one year later. If something comes to your attention just after that date, call us anyway – we’re reasonable people, and we’d rather look than leave you without a clear answer. Every Dunmore Locksmith location is independently owned and operated, but every one of them is part of the Threshold Group family, and every one honors this promise. “Threshold Verified” isn’t a head-office slogan; it’s what each location agreed to when they joined the family.
Questions About the Promise
If something about the 365-Day Done Right Promise isn’t clear, or you’re ready to schedule a return visit, call (910) 714-4287. A live person picks up every time – no voicemail, no chatbot. We’ll sort it out with you on the call.
